Well, thankfully I'm still here (completely uninjured). The sad part is that my car is not. I was going into work the other morning in the rain. Yes, I was going over the speed limit by a little bit. Just remember that the speed limit here it 50 mph (after conversion from km/h). My Z has never failed on a wet road when going in a straight line. Anyway, I was passing a truck when I saw he was spitting up a lot of water. I hit my brakes to slow down when I hit a pool of water and hydroplaned. I did a 180, slammed into a wall, slammed into a wall again, did another 180, and slammed into a wall for a 3rd time before coming to a stop. Another driver told me I almost got slammed into by a semi truck that barely missed me. I'm spending today with Zski (Pete) ripping apart my car. I anybody wants some parts (that can be shipped through the USPS. Check regulations before e-mailing please.) go ahead and e-mail me with a request. At least I was able to get some calendar submission pics taken first. Hopefully they'll make it in (or at least on one of the covers) so she can live on in some way or another. Z Carnival was at Fuji Speedway on Sunday (one last hoorah) and my Z died on Monday morning at 6:50 a.m. Japan Standard Time. Here are some pics:
